Okay, joking. Hieie is fine.
For real though, Red XIII's background story in the original game and here is that he was still just a child pretending to be an adult. This gets revealed by his gramps and after finding out the truth about his father and coming to terms with where he is in everything his burden is lightened and he starts to embrace he doesn't always have to be super mature and responsible. He changes his speaking patterns in the OG where in the Remake series he occasionally reveals his real voice and then makes the full change over in Cosmo Canyon.
they couldve kept the same voice but changed his way of talking, you know, like in the OG...
this new voice... is not Red
he didn't had that voice in Advent Children either
not the voice
i thought the voice talking with Aerith was some Nomura bs from another multiverse using Red for something stupid Nomura bs related
I respect that it's the same voice actor (it's honestly amazing).
I want an option to keep the old voice. This is nails on a chalkboard for me.
Red XIII and Nanaki are different characters, and I prefer Red XIII.
I get the character implications. I cannot stand the voice, particularly the change and the completely different lines. I 100% bench Red when this happens in the game, and I don't want to.
he's 48, he's only a teenager in human years
in the OG he just changed the way he spoke, even tho it didn't had voice acting they should've done the same thing, change the way he speaks but keep his chad voice
You need to understand him!!!"
(Just a quote when you openly say you find Yuffie annoying xD)
He wanted to be taken seriously but in his hometown he couldn't contain his emotions.
And now that everyone knows what's going on he just continues to be the real Nanaki.
But you can look forward to the few moments where he speaks like a badass again
iirc he still has the same voice actor :o
First it was weird to me, too. Needed some time to get used to it.
But I can understand how you feel. Maybe I would feel the same when my favourite characters would have a voice change - even if there would be a good explanation xd
He changed his way of talking in the og as well, it just didn't have voice acting.
Changing his way of talking =/= changing his voice
they should've keep the same voice but instead of him talking like a mature and serious adult he would talk like a teenager but still keep the same or at the very least a very similar voice tone
it was like heaven and earth different, alwful choise
