Fatal Error

Its so frustrating to have fatal error even despite 2 patches.

I am still getting fatal error despite doing so many things:

1) Update Graphics Card
2) Running as admin
3) Turning off cloud safe and deleting save file in documents
4) Verify integrity of the files
5) Using DX 13 & 12
6) Using windowed and lowering graphics settings
7) Turning off or exclude FF7 from firewall etc.

Mine is RTX 3080 TI, Ryzen 5600, 32gb, Win 11, 32gb ram

RTX3080 32GB RAM Windows 11

Any ideas what else to do?

Complete New Installation?
It helped me with being stucked on a CS with black screen. Verifying files barely finds something

need more information, what is the error ?
for reference, I'm running this on a very similar configuration, and I have never crashed. The only difference is I have a 4070ti super, not a 3080, and windows 10.
If two patches hasn't fixed the issue, and there's no official word about it, then it's safe to conclude you should look on your side.

if you're using P40L0X's v3.0 Engine.ini, he recently reverted to v2.2, because it was causing fatal errors/crashes. I had 2-3 crashes in a day with v3.0 and couldn't figure out why until I went to update my mods.

If you have Hardware Acceleration on in Discord, turn if off, it locks GPU at lower clocks. "Graphic Acceleration" in Chrome browser does the same thing and should also be off.

It just says "Fatal Error" and I cant play and have to reload saves again.

I get the same erorr the game loads, than it crashes after i select load game. or continue., I will see if deleteing my mods helps and than deleting save files. I have a 5800x 4070s 32 gig ram and all my storge is fast m.2

I deleted my mods now it works again, seems the game crashes if to many mods, I will see how many i can have of my old mods before it crashes.
