gold saucer and mini games in general

tbh idm the minigames. yet they feel they are out of place. I think it would have way better if they locked them behind gold saucer like 99 % of them. the amount of the mini game is just ridiculous. also this is a remake, not a remaster it should not be 1:1 to the original.

you got your wish it wasnt 1 to 1 it's more like 1 to 10. for every 1 trash mini game in OG 10 got added here, so they could pad the content after cutting into 3rds

The only mini game in Gold Saucer that was bad was the boxing one. The rest are pretty much improved and made easier.

I aced most minigames in one round. But the boxing one? Did not enjoy that one.

The card puzzle games where also fun. Some took a bit too many tries.

there's more minigames in the og, and I enjoyed most of the minigames here, in the OG they're a second thought.

Also, chocobo breeding for hours to get knights of the round ? Going around in circles for half your playtime to grind ? :P

Yeah, the game should be called FF7: Rebirth of the Minigames... But I love most of them, just the cactuar crasher and 3D brawl were the most stupid (because I wanted be always on the top). I've finished the last 3 star (I guess) boss in 3D brawl and I said "ufff it's finaly over..." and few hours later, they added Yuffi... aftrer that Shinra manager (hardest) and I was so happy to finish him after an hour... and surprise!!!! the last one will be Sephirot you b..tch :-O ... Another hour....

this sounds so cool I never knew that knights of the round exist in ff7 originally. since I first played FF14 I thought they were original to that game. so they are also considered a "secert boss" will they be in part 3? ( still 70% in part 2)

I've reached the end of chapter 9, doing all side content along the way without stressing too much on the results, I'm enjoying the game so far, even though a better balance between main quest and minigames/side content would have probably been preferable, it feels like a FFVII theme park at times.

He didn't learn it from scratch. Back when he visited TIfa's place in Nibelheim, he noodled around a bit, proving this has been an ongoing hobby for him! At least that's how it was in MY story.

I don't mind the minigames; I like that there's different content in the game depending on my mood. But not all minigames are created equal.

Least favorites:
The moogles (there aren't even real moogles in OG FF7!). Mindless, annoying, and not cute.
The frogs (such sluggish controls and the rewards suck)
The boxing (Just kinda stressful)
