rebirth's attitude is fantastic. it's loving and accepting attitude fits the themes of the game. You know, the planet and it's people. We are all connected through the lifestream.
Hiding your infatuation for a girl and sneakily perving on her is only "fun" for the handheldless virgin that does it. It's not a huge problem, but it's like a micro-molestation, and doesn't really fit a hero's behavior. Nor does it fit a nuanced game for adults who have long since realized that this is the case.
Just people who complain that a different game is different.
When there are 100,000's of games to choose from surely you can find something that you like that aligns with your sense of humor. I wouldn't expect a ton of mainstream games to cater to your humor as the are trying to sell to a broad audience.
Maybe that makes it unfun for you but sales show the current trajectory in gaming is doing just fine. Really there is something for everyone. There are plenty of gritty and adult themed games out there that are of very good quality. You probably need to use the various search mehods to find something that you like.
