Crashing/freezing in Cosmo Canyon?

It happens after about 5 minutes of gameplay. It happened a little bit in the Mithrill Mines, too, but I pushed through, and then didn't happen for the next 20 hours, now it's back. Anyone else encountered this?

anyone else? my guy you'll find a million threads on crashing, stuttering, etc in FF7 Rebirth if you search. some random, some constant. some get fixed, some don't.

game is poorly optimized but recent patches seem to fix it for some (and break it for others)

Report the bugs towards Square Enix support

Game has been stable for me right up until Cosmo Canyon. Very annoying. Fatal error crashes. Not sure what the cause of those are.
