You know what this game needs? More combat trials

The coliseum battles and combat simulator were fun in FF7 remake but Jesus Christ, did they ever pad out the playtime of this game with these things. Chadley and The Gold Saucer already have a ridiculous amount of combat trails, but then you also have the monster arena in the Dustbowl, the Turks training combat simulators in Gongaga, and Hojo's combat simulator in Shinra Mansion. It gets very, very repetitive by the end of the game. Some of the trails/challenges are pretty interesting and make you think (with the exception of the stupid Mindflayer + Vargidpolises one) but a majority of them are just fighting the same non-challenging enemies over and over again. And yes, I know that they're optional for the most part but it sucks for completionists like myself. This game was massive enough and packed with plenty of other content that there was no need to be this excessive with it.

Yes. Playing a game to fill out a checklist is not an accomplishment. Try doing something that you'd enjoy instead

Never that. This game more than delivered on content. But you can't say more content is good content when it's all just copy & paste ideas that don't really add any additional value.

Never that. This game more than delivered on content. But you can't say more content is good content when it's all just copy & paste ideas that don't really add any additional value.

the main problem is people are so Corpo Fomo addled in their brains that they cant even fathom optional content. content that you can do over the course of the entire games 2 campaigns and the NEED to do it immediately.

I think the simulator battles are the best part of the game. Wish they skipped all the minigames and sidequests and just made more of them
