Probably since the recommended card is a 2070.

SE doesn't specific which DLSS version they're going to implement, assuming it's DLSS 3.0 then more likely include FG also, we'll see in a few weeks, I hope.

Probably. SE never said anything about FG being implemented in FF16 yet it was there at launch. I'm assuming Rebirth will do the same. But don't take my word for it. I guess we'll figure it out at launch.

Calculating that the game is released now that the latest DLSS available is 3.8 (probably in a few days they will present DLSS 4 at CES) Of course now that there will now be the Frame Gen has revolutionized the way of developing video games if there is the DLSS I don't see why there should not be the Frame Gen
it's very likely but we won't know for another 3 weeks.

Frame gen is bad... It turns off v-sync, creates lines in the screen... Then beginner players cry because the game is stuttering.

It's normal, your v-sync is deactivated and your GPU uses its power to create fake frames instead of real ones.

You only need vsync if you arnt using VRR, framgegen is for high refresh rate displays with vrr.

vsync is for lower quality displays with no vrr

Frame Gen don't work for cards under rtx 40 series.
2070 doesn't support frame gen.
But it does support old version DLSS.

There's FSR framegen for anyone who doesn't wanna pay for a gpu with nerfed memory bandwidth aka Nvidia 4xxx series.
And even for games that doesn't support any of those 2, there's a LSFG which works universally, but requires third party software.

LSFG works about as well, AMD Ray Tracing implementation, and the bandwidth is NOT nerfed on the 4000 series of cards.
I don't see why anyone would wanna use Frame Gen from any upscalers. They all have weird ghosting and artifacts.
umm if it does it does if it doesn't then it doesn't lol its not really a game changer if you can use it unless you get over 60fps and you will still get "input lag"

If it supports DLSS, it'll work with either DLSS Enabler 3.02 (this one adds FSR3.1 and FrameGen for GPUs that would traditionally not support the FrameGen LLM; works like a champ on my GTX 1070 and Steam Deck), or DLSS Enabler 3.03 (this one's in beta, but automatically enforces FSR 3.1+ FrameGen for _any_ game supporting DLSS, regardless of explicit FrameGen support).

Free mod, google it, there are youtube vids on how to put it in place.
