Now THIS is the way to do pre-orders
30% off...

Works great for both parties: developers get to lock you into a purchase, you get an incentive of 30% discount for trusting in the developer.

On top of all that, doing it on Steam is a no-brainer since you still have the chance to refund it if you don't like it for whatever reason, so they still are not technically locking you into purchasing the game without seeing if it's good or bad.

I hope other games learn from this (I know, highly unlikely).

And yes, I know that it's technically a port/old game but still. Loving it.

I mean, horizon zero dawn remaster was only 10$ for people who owned the original.. i think that would be a much better example of a good preorder but 70$ for both remakes is def good.

30% off 1/3 of a game priced as if its a full AAA title is still a markup of 100%

Rebirth is actually a full AAA game that took 3 years to develop, @Lil Scream.

1/3rd of a game with more content than 90% of triple games. Imagine how crazy it would be if it was a full game! That'd be like 500 hours.

So, Samoa Joe, you take your 33 1/3 chance minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 and 1/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice. But then you take my 75% chance of winning (if we was to go one on one), and then add 66 and 2/3 percents, I got a 141 and 2/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice! See Joe, the numbers don’t lie, and they spell disaster for you at Sacrifice.

And you get a few pre order exclusive in game items. The Twin Pack was pretty cheap as well.

The only problem I have with it is there is no way I'll be able to finish FF16 and do another FF7R playthrough before this releases. That said I'll probably end up pre-ordering for the discount because the next sale probably won't happen until the Summer if I had to guess.
