that magic pot summon is great in hard mode though
can you play rebirth without saving data on ff7 remake ?.. because i finished remake not in steam.. ( you know 😶🌫️)
The summoning materia is nice to have, at least at the beginning of the game, but you will collect more powerful summoning materia while progressing through the game. (yes, I played Rebirth on PS5)
okay, thanks for the info.. will keep hard grind early game lol..
so the way it worked on ps5 is you had to have save data from remake and also the dlc on your drive, and if you did it would give you a materia from each of those. the materia you get by doing that is ramuh and leviathan, these were available in remake and the dlc but it is nice to have them in rebirth because then you will have all of the summons from the original game up until tbe last few which will likely come in game 3
you also didn’t actually have to complete remake or its dlc, you only needed save data from it. so you could literally just fire up remake and the dlc, skip the cutscene, save the game, and exit. but idk if it will work the same on pc
there was also a bonus you got if you had save data from the ps5 demo, and idk if there will be a demo so i am not sure if it is just included or not. but all it was was a few miscelaneous potions and a kupo charm which ups the drop rates for resources but those are easy to come by anyway so it is mostly just for fun
oh yeah i hear that ps5 demo player will get kupo charm.. but i dont hear any demo on steam..
yeah as the other guy said, it is a separate game and your save data doesn’t carry over. instead they will start you out at level 15 with roughly the same materia loadout you had access to when you reached this part of the game in the original. level 15 is also roughly what level you would have been in the og so it is a fun way of doing it that keeps the games separate
As for OPs question, I didn't get it because 20€ just for 3 items that'll be outclassed within 5-10 hours of playing and an artbook I'll never look at is quite steep, I would've gotten it if it was 10€. I'm not hurting for money but don't want to blow it on more or less useless stuff either.
