not really, the gear you get is outclassed pretty early but it is all useful. i got it anyway though, it’s worth it to me because i just really enjoy this trilogy and want all of it

that magic pot summon is great in hard mode though

rebirth is a brand new game with different mechanics than ff7 remake

Yes, save data doesn't carry over.

I went for the standard edition, Deluxe it didn't seem worth it, you would be paying a lot of money for just a few items IMO.

Yes, but Remake apparently also needs to be in your Steam library to receive it.

The summoning materia is nice to have, at least at the beginning of the game, but you will collect more powerful summoning materia while progressing through the game. (yes, I played Rebirth on PS5)

so the way it worked on ps5 is you had to have save data from remake and also the dlc on your drive, and if you did it would give you a materia from each of those. the materia you get by doing that is ramuh and leviathan, these were available in remake and the dlc but it is nice to have them in rebirth because then you will have all of the summons from the original game up until tbe last few which will likely come in game 3

you also didn’t actually have to complete remake or its dlc, you only needed save data from it. so you could literally just fire up remake and the dlc, skip the cutscene, save the game, and exit. but idk if it will work the same on pc

there was also a bonus you got if you had save data from the ps5 demo, and idk if there will be a demo so i am not sure if it is just included or not. but all it was was a few miscelaneous potions and a kupo charm which ups the drop rates for resources but those are easy to come by anyway so it is mostly just for fun

yeah as the other guy said, it is a separate game and your save data doesn’t carry over. instead they will start you out at level 15 with roughly the same materia loadout you had access to when you reached this part of the game in the original. level 15 is also roughly what level you would have been in the og so it is a fun way of doing it that keeps the games separate

Considering PC version has mods, digital addon is never worth it.
Yes Mods... But you could never have the Game to 100% when you have not all summon and you missing the magic pot Summon. Thats an Reason that many sure buy the deluxe edition... Hope that the DLC give it standalone to Buy that not want to buy it an second time. That would be a shame when the normal can not have the Summon

You can already buy the DLC separately, don't worry.
As for OPs question, I didn't get it because 20€ just for 3 items that'll be outclassed within 5-10 hours of playing and an artbook I'll never look at is quite steep, I would've gotten it if it was 10€. I'm not hurting for money but don't want to blow it on more or less useless stuff either.
