For example, some people will Recommend you to get the 4070 Super, but from my research, there is a card from the 3.xx series that is barely worse than that, for a LOT less.
As for the Rx? Radeon... gross.
Both card has same performance after amd driver update, but varies between games.
Rx 7800 xt has 16vram
Rtx 4070 super has 12 vram but with dlss 3 supported
But both card should work just fine in this game but if you are planning to play at 4k with dlss or fsr(not yet confirmed), 16 vram would definitely provide a more stable frametime which means smoother gameplay.
BUT, at this point you might as well wait for rx 8800 xt release in the end of next month, which provides a rtx 4080 performance at the price range of 500 usd to 800 usd. (Price not yet confirmed )
Let's not talk about rtx 3080 that only has 10 vram which is definitely not enough for bad ps5 game pc port at 1440p resolution at ultra texture setting.
I'm taking notes, thank you!
I think the only person that is tricking people into buying garbage is you.
and for reference UE4 need good CPUs or it stutters a loot more, and under 8 real cores isnt a good idead.
What is the point in this? To try and bait me into some kinda BS argument you have made up in your head?
This is your second reply to me, about the same post. Just because you need your hand held though.
I never told anyone at anytime to buy anything. If you actually read the post you quoted twice, even one time, youd have realized that.
As for the "Gross" comment, pretty sure most people will actually realize what I was doing there. It is a long standing battle between Nvidia and Radeon, clearly, im personally on the Nvidia side, hence the "Gross". I never even implied he shouldnt get a Radeon, as that is his decision.
At the very least, you showed the OP that under no circumstance should he listen to any advice from you, if my one post managed to trigger you like this.
I'm not searching for 4k ultra, I'm often playing in 1080p
Thank you!
Someone said in an earlier post to check in the overclockers uk forum. I second that. Very knowledgeable people who will give you good hardware advice based on your budget and requirements with no judgement or instant recommendations of buying the ultimate best kit regardless of the situation.
As a user of both AMD and nvidia I can honestly say don't be afraid to go AMD if it respects your budget a bit more. Their cards are very similar in terms of raw performance (minus the shiny ray tracing).
Hope this helps
Dont be lured in with promises of being "future proof", that is always sweet little lies. You can go with perpetually mid range, and your wallet will be happier in the long run.
