Question VRAM
Hello,

I have an RTX 2060 but with 6GB of Vram. Will I still be able to play in 1080p?

Thanks for your answers.

Bonjour,

J'ai une RTX 2060 mais avec 6Go de Vram.
Est-ce que je pourrais tout de même jouer en 1080p ?

Merci pour vos réponses.

There are no other RTX 2060 with more vram. Minimum requirements is a RTX 2060.

Surely you can, but you need to lower graphic settings such as texture, shadow quality, etc., that will impact VRAM, and use DLSS balance/performance mode.

Hope they release the Ribirth demo like they did on PS5.

The minimum requirements do not explicitly state that you need 8GB VRAM for 1080p @30 FPS, so you should be fine.

That said, do yourself a favor and upgrade. This game is beautiful and deserves to be played with high settings @60 FPS.

You would certainly be able to run it. However, you will need to set everything in low. Even Remake needed more than 8Gb VRAM to have everything in High Settings.

Yup, I've remembered my old gpu at the time GTX 1660 Ti often suffers from lack of VRAM when playing on High. Turning the shadows to low with a few .ini tweaks only then solved the issue. But RTX 2060 might be able to get away with it when using DLSS.

Thank you very much for your answers.

I am more assured, even if I am aware that I have to do a CPU update but it will not be for now.

I hope we get a demo.

Very likely that you can. the system requirements do state a 2060 for 1080p@30FPS Low settings. possibly it will run better than what SE is suggesting
What is your current CPU? as R5 1400 isn't really a high bar

Yeah, probably between 30-60fps.

Yeah you are far above the i3 8100/r5 1400 requirement. I do expect that the game will run on your config
