Rebirth is currently on 30% off sale if bought alone. If they do the same delayed PS5/6 -> PC launch for Part 3 I'm guessing they'll do a similar discount.
Just keep in mind the third part is not coming any time soon. It could take over 2 years to come PC.
Na, S-E wants to get away from Sony exclusiveness, so they might target a day and date console and PC release with the third part.
True, but i wouldnt be surprised if Square Enix had signed an exclusivity deal for ALL games in the remake before changing thier stance on exclusivity. Wouldnt make sense for them to do exclusivity for the trilogy remake on a game by game basis.
I kind of doubt this....i think ive figured out sony's PC Port strategy. They release that game on console, then eventually they release the DLC for that game(if any).....and then one year later BOOM Pc Port. GOW Ragnarok followed that formula, as did Horizon Forbidden West...FF16 did as well. FF7 Rebirth did not have any DLC...and just a tad under a year later...it will release on PC.
But, as other people said these games are massive and long. Unless you’re a true menace, you probably can’t play 3 whole 40-50 hour long games back to back (not even including side content). You should probably just play remake and this game now then pick up the third game when it drops.
buy these 2 master pieces especially rebirth it will take you a lot of time to complete it, also part 3 is not even out on console we have to wait a long time for that
Remake, iirc, took me like 36h the last time I played it, and the first time i played it was under 50 for sure. My first run through of rebirth took 92h, but I was doing everything I could. There's a lot you can skip that adds to that 92h.
Realistically, I wouldn't be surprised if sub-100h to 120h for all three games was possible if you focused on story more than side stuff.
This (Rebirth) is the second game in the Remake trilogy.
Crisis Core, for instance, is in the Compliation of FFVII metaseries, but not part of this trilogy.
The next game "R3" (whatever they end up naming it), the direct sequel, will be third in this.

As for actually waiting for the third game to release, buying them all up, then playing them straight... I would highly recommend against that. Unless you are spreading this out over the course of several months, or more.
Even Remake (part 1), giving it its proper due, is a lot of time. Rebirth, you are looking at literal hundreds of hours if doing a completionist run. This would be a massive undertaking. And, like mentioned above, arecipe for burnout. Even if the games are good fun.
so...
who knows when will be on PC
just pick the games now and enjoy this masterpiece
as first comment told
getting 3 at the same time is a perfect recipe for getting burnout
