Epic saves will work, you just need to copy and paste the Epic save file into the correct folder it would've been in for Steam.

Nope, different format and PS5 saves are encrypted per PSN account and console.

Yeah I thought so, but that's okay.

Because you can take Epic saves and move them over to the Steam folder and the save works in Remake. So obviously Rebirth will be able to read the save. There is no difference in the save files between Epic and Steam, only that they're located in different folders.

okay, then the problem is how it will work for people who don't have Steam version of Intergrade, and how Steam Rebirth is going to find/check for the save

If you put the save in the folder it'd be in for Steam, then Rebirth will be able to find it. It's not going to be checking if you own the game or if the game is installed. It's simply going to be looking for the save file in the folder it's programmed to look in.

The number is just your Steam ID number which is different for every user.

For you specifically that'd be: 76561197970763622

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE\Steam\76561197970763622\
