The CEO openly stated their policy is to threaten game companies into doing what they want. Otherwise they will go out of their way to smear companies or dev teams in the media/social media. Like what they did with Black Myth Wukong when the dev team refused to work with them.


Anyway my point has been proven time and time again by the continuing failure of major game releases associated with Sweet Baby and other activist consulting companies.

Two things that are wrong here:
1. Rebirth team didn’t consult with SBI.
2. A consultant can’t force anything into a product. They make suggestions, the company who hired the consultant makes decisions.

It's really not bad. I'm (over) attuned to it in gaming, and I noticed very little "modern audience" BS. Probably less than in part 1 that nuked Wall Market. There's no lectures about using the correct pronouns or whatever. The main change in terms of political correctness is Cid is no longer an abusive, smoking, veteran.
