RTX is required??

I know I have to upgrade my gear, but... XVI with a 1070 is playable, and the tag in requirements says " RTX series required" so... I guess i'm out until I upgrade?
Do you know any other game with this requirement run in a non rtx serires?

I'm good with just gaming on my PS5 Pro at the moment. I traded in my OG PS5 for the new one as getting anything affordable for a PC in Canada is near impossible now a days with our dollar tanking hard.

$1000 Console vs $1600 gamer PC
Hell i built my own PC for sub 1700 with a 4070tiS in canada,
Saying PC isnt affordable but a PS5 Pro is, is literally wild when its $1000 in our country

Just build own PC, its not hard its just adult lego, pre builts always a scam

According to reviews, the new B580 Arc (Battlemage) from Intel gets lauded... so it might be an affordable upgrade for those on a tighter budget.

It has HURE problems with older games. Basically 90% of pc games are unplayable on intel cards. Even colossal series like call of duty is affected. I watched recent review of this card and guy there said that call of duty IW crashes on launch for 2 years already lmao. It's good card on paper but it simply don't work in many games.

Yeah but RR7R2 is an UE4 game. Or ue5? And Indiana not.

I completed stalker 2 with hard coded lumen it it with my 1070 and it was 30 fps experience but still very playable. Why is it RR7R2 needs RTX card if it not has ray tracing at all?

DXVK fixes most intel problems btw, so as long as people are willing to learn how to slap a few files into folders youre new games will run significantly better

The intel cards actually preform amazingly on linux good reason to ditch windows tbh
I will say for CoD youre bricked either way but if you just play chunk of single player or steamdeck verified/linux games this works perfectly fine for budget

only if you dont enable async = true, Ive been playing kiwami 2 recently and hitting constant 180 FPS vs 110 , I would rather just play the 180 FPS than 80-110 fluctuating DX11 has always been garbage, plus Gamescope/proton has always stabilized any real frame time problems also even in text video the VK frame times were still better than anything DX11 related lmao

Unfortunately, you will be forced to upgrade as the developers are not concerned about wanting to work, plus Nvidia sponsored games have this problem.

And yet several games got tested. I am also confident that Intel will get their act together with newer cards. Also the A series is listed as minimum settings, so I guess this game is safe to play on an intel GPU.

Is Intel late to the party and have still some homework to do, undoubtedly. Is it dead on arrival, I don't think so and if I have not already a 7800XT, I would consider this card.

easy install linux or just use free windows, or buy the $30 windows key buying windows out right has always just been a scam
Also id be warry about space with the artic freeze 3 over the 2 i made the mistake of getting a 360 Freeze 3 and having to like awkward science to get it to fit. the freeze 3's are thicc boys
i dont know when you plan to build this or when but best times to buy here are

FF7 Rebirth is quite the technical update from remake and brought the PS5 to it's knees. So comparing the performance of Rebirth to Remake is a false equivalency. Rebirth is piratically an open world game compared to Remake's much smaller hub areas. This game wasn't released for PS4 so expecting it to work on old gpus is a fools errand.

lots of overpriced and overkill parts jeez, also $189 windows hahaaha.

if you're from 1st world country you can probably get most of the stuff here at half the price. Hell i bought 5700X3D for $210 dollar in a third world country. Pretty sure you can get 5700x3d for like $175.
