How do I play the Episodes?

Ep1 and 2 are delisted, because I've been told that they bundled all of them with Half Life Update. But I can't figure out how to open them! Am I missing something? There doesn't seem to be any intuitive way to just open them and play them

From what I understand, you can't play them separately anymore. They WILL load as you play through the whole game though. Alternatively, you can probably still load the maps from console(but I don't know what those maps' names are atm).

When you start updated Half-Life 2 (not this Half-Life 2: Update which is a different game) you should see selection of both HL2 and episodes. If you don't see it then it's already selected and you have to press "Back" button.

Also you can find original standalone Ep1/Ep2 in the Tools section and still play both. Use search to find them quickly.

They are in the tools section of your library if you already owned them before the update.

If you opt into showing tools on your steam library you can still get them separately. Though them being built into HL2 works just fine.
