How to FIX the stuttering, lag, frame drops, etc.

Go here; steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 Update\hl2\cfg

Now open each the following files with notepad;

1) autoexec.cfg
2) filipvictor.cfg

Change these lines to look like this in EACH file;

"mat_picmip -10" to "mat_picmip -1"

"r_rootlod -10" to "r_rootlod 0"

Save & close, play game = ENJOY NO MORE STUTTERING!

I think i have found out the problem, i have a razer chroma mouse. The polling needs to be on 1000 if its used in wireless mode.

Sv_autosave 0 works fine enough for me..Although this does remove all checkpoints not tied to loading screens, so save frequently

Sorry brother, this is for the game called "HL2: UPDATE" so the game-path looks like this; "steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 Update\hl2"
