Lambda Locator
A little while into replaying HL2 using Update I realised that I had been doing the Lambda Locator achievement, so I decided to go for all 45. Using this guide:

So far I've noticed 3 changes/differences. Firstly location 12 has no Lambda on the wall, and I don't think I got any achievement popup for collecting the cache inside. Location 14 also has no Lambda symbol or achievement popup. I also noticed a new/moved Lambda location just before location 14 on the guide, it's in the large warehouse with shipping containers just before you open the gate to get your airboat through.

Anyway, what's causing these issues? Is the guide out of date? I assume the missing Lambdas may just be because Update has changed textures in some places (seems to be the case with location 14 of guide) Or has Update moved some of the locations for some reason? If so, why?

This is the proper guide.

Some of the hard to find lambda caches was moved to a more easily accessible areas. It has been like that since 2008 (update only).
