Crashing upon startup with MMOD
So I decided to play around with mods a lil bit to see if I could make the game look nice. I put on some texture mods + reshade files underneath the bin in the update folder. But now I can't even launch the MMOD Update version and Update itself. Is there anything I can do without having to reinstall?

Update: After playing around with the files, I've deduced that the problem stems from the d3d9.dll reshade file and the custom preset .ini file I downloaded from being in the bin. But without them, I can't utilize reshade. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Probably you replaced some .dll files thus making game no longer to open. Either replace the same .dll files again from original hl2 or delete the entire game folder and reinstall.
