[MMod] Cannot get past train bridge
At the place with the train bridge, where you have to go on the catwalk underneath to the other side to disable the forcefield, I cannot get past it.

I walk through the first door, right before the catwalk, and this triggers the game to start loading next section. As soon as it finishes loading, the screen goes dark and reloads my last save.

This has happened many times now.

Is this some kind of glitch with MMod? Is there any way to get around it? Any way to cheat or something?

Try this fix> Open console: ent_fire fall_trigger kill > proceed in bridge map transition

This should remove the trigger that checks for buggy vehicle. This is not a map issue is code issue, Valve fixed this after the orange box update way back, but they did not included the changes in the sdk code. MMod team seems it did not bother to play thru the entire game.

Upon closer look at the console, it looks like the same error that someone else posted about. Here's what happens in the console from the moment you step through into the transition to the moment it loads the previous save:

'skill_episodic.cfg' not present; not executing.
Loading game from //MOD/save/d2_coast_07.HL1...
Set motd from file 'cfg/motd.txt'
Set motd_text from file 'cfg/motd_text.txt'
Attemped to precache unknown particle system "error"!
Compact freed 393216 bytes
Can't savegame with a dead player
Dropped Meatball Panini from server (Disconnect by user.)
Loading game from save\half-life-000.sav...L

I tried the command you mentioned:

ent_fire fall_trigger kill

Maybe I entered it wrong? It didn't seem to have any effect.
And a quick look under \sourcemods\HL2MMod\save\ , there isn't actually a d2_coast_07.HL1 file. Is that supposed to get generated during the map transition?
I did a work-around: I copied saves from MMod to HL2:Update, loaded them in Update, got past the transition and saved, then copied that over to MMod and now things are working correctly :)
I can't even start a new game.

Best is to contact the MMod devs and tell them to fix their code issue.
If they had forums, I would :) This was the closest thing.
The save flip work-around works for now.
do map d2_coast_08, then type impulse 101 to get all your stuff.
