Does one ever spawn?

This game looks like something I'd absolutely love, but so far I've had zero luck actually playing it. The pattern is always the same: join a game session and then float around as a disembodied something or other, never spawning into the map to do anything of value. And I should note that it doesn't seem to respect my camera inversion controls either because I've set the Y-axis to be inverted but it isn't while I'm just floating/flying around the map. So I have to ask: does one ever spawn?

You want to join a game in Lobby state. If you don't load into a small chinook helicopter bay and can walk around the game has already started. If the game already started you can't be spawned.

Ah, thanks. I guess when I saw the "team spawn" was set to true in all the games I joined, I foolishly took that to mean I could spawn as part of a team in process. My mistake.

yer the team spawn refers to re spawning a dead player it does how ever make sense you should be able to pull a spectator into the match with this system if you ask me!
