Nuclear Nightmare
Suggestions for current state of the game
Really enjoying the game! Got 25+ hours in, split between solo and 2-person coop, solo clears up through Nightmare difficulty on Normal evidence. While there's a lot of cool roadmap ideas (with very unrealistic projected timelines IMO), there's some basic things with the base game I'd like to suggest get addressed first.

Issues:
- Enemy balance: Enemies could use more variety in attacks and tactics, right now they're mostly reaction-time checks (and aim checks, for the crawlers). It would also be nice if the stealth perks worked, enemies always know where we are regardless.
- Enemy spawns: I really don't like how an enemy can literally spawn out of nowhere anywhere outside, including right next to you. That ruins the atmosphere and immersion, which is bad because the atmosphere and immersion are the primary strengths of the base game. At least have a check where an enemy can't spawn within a certain distance of the player.
- Weapon balance: Grenades seem useless, enemies are way too mobile to get hit by them; flamethrowers, while usually good, sometimes just get totally ignored by enemies (usually the big mushroom-head one, not sure if bug); same issue with the flare guns.
- Generators should never be far away from heated buildings and objectives. The Airport is the prime offender here., good luck keeping the generator on long enough to do the objective on Nightmare difficulty solo while also not freezing to death.

Suggestions:
- Have alcohol consumables help slow the temperature drop speed on higher difficulties. Like, a beer could reduce temp drop slightly for 10 seconds, wine moderately for 15 seconds, liquor greatly for 20 seconds. Maybe have a side effect if the player drinks a bunch in a short time frame.
- Maybe the vaccine could be usable as a last-resort defense? If the vaccine can cure our infections instantly, could we also stab a monster that grabs us with it and kill it, assuming we'd otherwise survive the attack?
- Can the snowmobile have a horn?
- If we befriend multiple doggos, can we have them pull us on a sled, as an alternative to the snowmobile?
