How to get the guard dog achievement at the moment

1.Enable steam console if not enabled (add "steam.exe -console" to target field of your steam exe or shortcut.
2. input this command to download older version of the game (without the ""):
"download_depot 2909110 2909111 282005279530629444"
3.Wait until steam console says depot has been downloaded.
4. Go to the folder where the depot was downloaded and copy all the files.
5. Copy the files to your Nuclear Nightmare game folder and overwrite everything.
6. Play the game, find jerky, tame a dog, set it to guard mode, wait for monster to appear (dont die, so kite the monster until you get the achievement.)
7. Profit.

can dogs just not attack right now? whenever i get one they are useless and just run away when a monster shows up

Yeah they are bugged at the moment, so you need to use older version of the game if you want the achievement.

Thanks for this. I'm not too pleased that the devs promised this bug would be fixed in the next patch only for it to not be fixed with the next patch. Glad this method actually works.

they couldn't even fix the infinite perk roll bug LOL... it's over man ..... sad I really enjoyed the last patch of this game but now its ruined for me
