The location of the oil plant's generator is just ridiculous to find, up on some random plateau that looks like it's a wall like so many other walls on the map. I strongly recommend putting that generator location in a much, much easier to find location. We literally looked for it, running around, for like 10 minutes. 3 people. Several circles of what we thought was the whole area with buildings.

Agreed, I know literally 1 spot where you can just barely get up the wall by scaling it sideways. I also still dont know where to find the other drill control pannel ;-;

I think you mean the Drill pit, OP.

But aye, it can be frustrating reaching that generator. However, the good side of it's position is that it's really close to the building that has the Objective computer, aswell as the Laptop to manage crew and evac.

There are a total of three buildings that are of the same layout, so it can get pretty confusing for new players. But the generator being close to the -important- building I feel is a good move, even if it can be a pain to reach.

I think the part that made me uniquely frustrated was feeling like and seeming to need to skyrim up the hill. I think it's a part of a pattern the game has, in general, where it seems like most operational locations are surrounded by really tall plateaus that force you to enter just one way, despite the map looking completely open.

Best snowmobile jump spot by far.

Just follow it out to the edge of the base with it on your right and you'll be on the plateau.
