Even by normal standards, the public sessions are usually just a cesspit. My advice would be either play with friends or solo, cause playing with randoms to me just hasn't been worth it.
And the more people there are the bigger the chances of a douche
There's not a single game that comes to mind.
If it is a team-based game, everyone is expecting a carry. Nobody cares to get good or to learn the mechanics of the game.
If it is a PVP game, the majority are cheating, once again this correlates with them not giving a flying f to get good at the game and will resort to whatever advantage they can get, if it is through cheats then they will cheat, if it is through exploits then they will exploit.
The gaming community is rotten, it's filled with losers who piggyback of other players and calling them out on it is no longer possible, because they are also the ones who cannot receive criticism without spamming the report button on you. So there is no way to fight this, but to just avoid playing with randoms all together. Get some friends from forums or Discord and then have a blast.
Reading what people endure in this game with randoms doesn't surprise me, such as those who will deliberately kill you just to grief or take you with the snowmobile to No Man's Land and then leave you there, purposefully crash the helicopter, turn on the trip-mines when you are in the way of it.
Nah, I've given up on randoms a long time ago.
But, there's the exception who will play nice and have a functioning brain, but good luck with that and don't be scared to add them if they're good, because there aren't many.
