What did I just get killed by..?

I know the picture isn't very great, but it's the only one I could grab because it happened so fast. I was flying in a chopper to get to one of my friends, and suddenly I seemed to get hit by an EMP, my engine turned off and nothing I could do would turn it back on. After I hit the ground and I able to bail before it exploded, when I came out there were blue spotlights all over the ground and this thing was in the air, it picked me up and dropped me and I immediately died from falling damage.

Can you be abducted???

you should be able to restart the heli by pressing the ignition key. quickly before the blades slow down too much, or you won't generate lift before you smack the ground. watch out for the camera shaking and a strange noise notification, signs you've been hit my the EMP.
