Multiplayer Adjustments
Having more people in a lobby I think makes the game worse. Allow me to explain.
The more people you have, the more the resources get spread, meaning that when the monsters come, fatalities are more likely since most players will be ill-equipped to deal with them, in addition to friendly fire being much more likely as well. Sure, having a bunch of people might make it funnier, but as the game goes on, more deaths = more people sitting on their asses in the dead player lobby not having fun.
I've found that the ideal amount of players is only 2. With normal item spawns, it allows both players to have the resources to properly defend themselves, and complete the objectives in a reasonable amount of time (and of course ride on the same snowmobile). 4 players also works fine if you split into teams of 2 and go opposite directions. This resource scarcity is made even worse when considering that players who get killed do not drop their inventory on death, permanently deleting whatever items they had.
I've managed to complete every objective on the hardest difficulty solo and duo, I've never even come close when playing with a large group of people. We'll get like 3 or 4 objectives done, and then be forced to call evac due to the bored moanings of the players who died.

I think there should be some sort of adjustments made to accommodate the large player groups. Lethal Company for example doesn't really have this issue because even in modded games with more than 4 players, the rounds are still a max of 11 minutes 40 seconds, so people who die have to wait far less time to start playing again, and other players are able to recover their equipment.
I think the best immediate change that could be made to alleviate this issue is to have player bodies be lootable containers, or at least have them drop their gear onto the ground (though the snow would make recovery difficult). I think longer term changes could include more balanced and less random item spawns, and maybe even automatic respawns on daybreak, with a more robust lives system. I think having players respawn only at helicopter pads would add a bit of interest as well.

players could start at different points on the map maybe.

I haven't noticed such a problem, because you can set up the server as you want. On the contrary, we turn on the setting on the servers so that there is minimal loot. Maximum difficulty, airborne infection, daytime enemies and other settings that complicate the game, so that by the end of the game as many people as possible die out of 7-8 people and the last survivors, having completed all the tasks or some of them, are evacuated. Because there is no pleasure when you know in advance that you will win, and here - the higher the risk, the greater the reward and more pleasure. I hope that over time the game can be configured so that it is even more difficult.

As the devs themselves have said, customization is king and i totally agree with your point. 8 players works just fine if you know what you are doing, matches can usually last 25 to 35 minutes tops with a solid team and the reinforcement mechanic makes it so people don't have to wait dead as OP says.

I've seen a ton of new players jump into the snowmobile at spawn and book it, looting the next outpost completely. They keep this trend up and wonder why when they are the ones without the snowmobile there are zero items. I played a game last night where three jabronis pulled up on snowmobiles all by themselves. Don't be like these lamers; real gamers use teamwork.

If you have a snowmobile inside the first minutes of the game it is your duty to drive that thing as far as you can before the first night, stopping just before nightfall to loot the furthest place you can reach. If you don't like that then you need to stop looting when you've found a decent weapon/ammo and then try to drive as far as possible in order to alleviate loot stress on the team as a whole.

You can't force people to not horde all the weapons so the best thing you can do is set an example. There's little reason to not reinforce someone and not give them the weapon you dislike the most (you dying with 4 guns is more detrimental to the team than your death itself). There's little reason to use the snowmobile as a means to keep others from obtaining any items, when you can easily drive 3 bases over to give everyone a better loot pool to work with (you included...). You screw the team over doing this selfish crap because you are God's worst gamer and it is a miracle you can find they anykey to start the game itself.

The problem is you can't tell who is in a discord call and doesn't view you as a teammate but an obstacle. The discord lamers feel zero shame because you aren't a person to them. They are incapable of doing things in a randoms interest, even if it aligns with their own self-interest.

Of all things I think, the following is not arguable in my opinion. When the extraction is called you give out your weapons to everyone without guns; it is completely absurd when I see 4 recently reinforced people running in circles hoping a singular guy with 4 guns can save them.

TLDR: One loot goblin + spawn at Airport + only one snowmobile with them in it = ruined match. Be the gamer you want to play with; the game seriously incentivizes you towards this.

Fat Tony calling out Discord users yet again... THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT!!!!

I'll never forgive gamers for moving gamer chats to a place where you have to give them your identity, putting essential game information there was worse enough.

It is a undeniable fact that discord gamers cheat in every game with their crazy gamesense, since they snitch about the current game state to their friends in a voice chat. It's like playing hide and seek and you snitch about hiding places when you're found, but I can't physically put my hands on you to teach you a lesson.

Imagine lacking gamer empathy

Alright I was with you until you said 2 is the best playercount lol
That's just ridiculous to suggest.
4-5 usually works quite well (uneven number but lets say you send your best player out solo)
