New announcement on the current situation of Things
Hello @everyone

We want to provide the community with an update. Benjamin, the lead developer for Nuclear Nightmare, is not able to work on the game due to conditions outside his control and as a result we are not able to provide game releases in the short term. @Benjamin expects to resume working on NN in about 4 to 6 weeks. At which point we intend to expend significant effort to make up for lost time. We appreciate your support and patience and apologize for the delays.

We are trying our best to resolve this as fast as possible and will keep you posted when we have updates. We all understand your frustration and we sympathise with you. Thanks again we appreciate you all.

The lead dev said he quit his day job to do this full time, yet is unable to work on the game that he quit his job for, for another 4-6 weeks? So that means none of the supposedly other devs on board also can't work on updating the game? Huh?

Once Benny boy comes back, then at that point they intend to make up for lost time, even though they are already very far behind and have already lost a significant amount of time already? :steamfacepalm:

Bold strategy, Cotton, let's see if it pays off for them. -Dodgeball Meme

What exactly does "outside his control" actually mean, though?

I keep hearing this phrase being used a lot, "Outside my control" but no with no explanation. I feel like people deserve to know.

Sure boss, I will definitely believe that development will resume after approximately 2 months of the game being broken since the devs can't work for "reasons". I also recently purchased a bridge in New York that will pay off handsomely.

Well, there goes my theory on them being picked up by a publisher. Guess I'll assume he lost the code ala Project Zomboid.

That or cut and run and yet to see the results.

Anyway, only time will tell and I lean in the camp of not believing the dev because he's so secretive and even made claims there would be a new patch then suddenly there isn't one and he also can't work on the game for x time because...?

yea it's total BS. Think about how much the last patch broke the game. Even if he took a vacation for 4 weeks he's not going to be able to fix anything. The only fix is paying someone 100k to do it for him while he's on vacation
