i figured it out your antivirus mustve quarintined it. Mine did

Had the same problem. When i reinstalled the game my av detected a virus in the game files.

Words from the devs:

We have seen issues with antivirus' deleting the games .exe file.
Add an exception in your antivirus to stop it from deleting your files.
We have seen this especially in Avast antivirus software.
