Mic not picking up

The game isn’t picking up my mic even though my mic settings on my computer and steam are fine. Steam pics up my mic on the mic test but in game my friends cannot hear me, any ideas?

This is a common issue, we are working on adding a setting for this. In the meantime you have to go into your computers default microphone settings and change it to the one you are using.

I tried that but it didn’t work, by I can try it again.

My friend has the issue, usually after fiddling with input device options, and one game restart or two, it usually works for them.

Sometimes I too am not heard by my party, until I press V couple of times, then it works, for some reason

To be fair, we shouldn't have to visit an exterior site to address issues in a game based on this literal site here.
