Can the Patch work on Steam Deck?

I played the demo on Steam Deck and it works just fine, but if I buy it I would like to get the Patch and have the full experience.

Will the patch work on Steam Deck?

It was a bit high effort but I installed the game on PC and Steam Deck, installed the patch on PC, zipped the entire game directory, uploaded it on Google drive, downloaded on the deck in desktop mode then dumped the contents of the zip into the install directory. It did work though.

Use Protontricks in Desktop mode. Open the patch using Protontricks and Tunnel Escape's proton prefix. Install normally. It worked for me.

Nope. It was that simple for me. Did it twice, once on my Steam Deck and another on my Linux PC. Worked both times. If you open the installer with the game's proton prefix, it'll automatically detect the correct directory to install the patch to. Just click next a few times until the patch is installed.
