Best ending?

I have...
- Finished run #3.
- Recruited every monster.
- Purchased every Artifact.
- Installed a figurehead on the boat.
- Converted the boat to an ironclad.
- When the credits roll, I've been given the rank of Explorer.
- When the credits roll, I was told I popped ~32K tiles.
- When the credits finish, the game says I have reached my destination.
- Unlocked every achievement.

I have not...
- Upgraded my Sword to maximum level.
- Upgraded my Staff to maximum level.
- Upgraded my Shield to maximum level.
- Upgraded my Spells to maximum level.
- Completed the Library.
- Done a single daily.
- I've read mentions of a skin vendor that I cannot find information of.

I want closure, mostly on that "rank" attribute. How to get ranks, and which ones are the best. This game has no documentation.

In the meantime, I'll be grinding money. What's the best cashmoney grind? Going to Vault with Braving Brew?

Update: Did a daily and unlocked skins. Got a gold, if that matters.
Update: Upgraded my Sword, Staff, Shield, and Spells to maximum level. Ending still says I'm an Explorer.
Todo: Finish library, finish skins. That could take a while.
