Just played the whole demo. Game was very enjoyable!

what i would like to see is:

Multiple people staying in 1 room so you will have to be cooking a bit more.
Some rooms being a little bigger for a family.

More of the thief and other random events but not happening very often.

Use of the rest of the kitchen like the sink, fryers, etc.

Instead of holding down click for tasks like cleaning, repairing you can toggle it for more relaxing game play.
