Final Puzzle from Level Select

Is there a way to return to the final puzzle from the level select? I quit the game during it and can't seem to get back, but I feel I might be missing something super-obvious.

It's not currently possible - if this is something folks would like we can look into adding an option to play the ending head (you'll know you've finished it when the credits roll, it's super simple though). I don't think we'll be able to address this before our Nick's (the programmer's) time off next week so it'll probably happen when he's back.

i'd like this feature too please, it softlocked when i right-clicked on the final scene, i didn't get the final achievement
i think it might have also softlocked when i right-clicked on the intro too, but that was a few months ago so i'm not sure

Same here too. I'm now locked out of getting the final achievement unless I want to clear my data and play through again (which isn't the worst thing ever admittedly).

Still not, this is so silly especially when it's tied to an achievement, the last bit nothing went clickable so i though i might restart it not knowing i have to start over.

If you get softlocked after trying to rotate the last level, try going to the menu and clicking resume, that fixed it for me.

I also crashed during the final level, and as a result I've been permanently locked out of the achievement and the ending, which I was excited for. I am not looking forwards to doing this all again, especially some of the more tedious unboxes. I'm trying to find a solution.

Same here. The last level I played was HOM-3. When I completed it the game crashed before unlocking any achievement. After restarting the level was marked as solved. Repeating it rewarded me the HOM-3 achievement, but did not open any final puzzle.

I would be OK with starting over from the beginning, but I'm a bit afraid that the same thing will just happen again.

Played it again. It took half an hour, and this time it worked.

Wait, if you beat HOM-3 and don't finish the final four button pushes to finish the game, you can never get the Head of the Class achievement aka never properly finish the game? Really..? It just happened to me and I saw this thread before starting my own. Sounds like the only fix is to start over from the beginning? ...Really?

That's too bad since this game doesn't seem to have any updates in the last 2 years so I can't imagine there's one coming through for this anytime soon. That's a shame since I loved the first 2 hours of it but to end it by NOT ending it is a bit disappointing. Oh well.

Achievements are meaningless so that's not an issue.

I would've liked to replay it just to see and interact with the other side (if you even can). I never flipped it over and just pressed the 4 buttons.

This happened to me too. It sucks. I was gonna give the game a positive recommendation but I can't do that for games with game breaking bugs. This thread was posted 2 years ago and its a shame to see that nothing has been done about the problem in all that time, especially with all the concern from other players. It didn't even let me push 4 buttons. I pushed 3 and then nothing would respond even though the game was still clearly running.

This game is really cool and the bug is unfortunate. I'd rather have the game without a basic QoL improvement like that. It's barely even a bug as much as mildly unimpressive design. Great game no matter what.
