Why CyberStep is in Steam?
They're running out of money?
They're going to shut down Getamped2?

I fear.
I already lost 2 games in month interval.

Promoting the game so that people who haven't seen the game before can play? Seems pretty simple to me.

If that's the purpose for it here, it gives hope.
I hope it's what you say.

RIP Cosmic League and Break... What's next to shutdown in US & EU? Getamped or Onigiri?

I think onigiri is doing great. and if they running out of money. how can they keep putting onigiri on diff platforms?

We need to start thinking about reverse-engineering these games to prevent their death after official server shut down. It's very hard, I know. Maybe even impossible.

I think this is actually their last resort. If the game was successful, they wouldn't put it on all platforms.

That's alarming sign.
I'm backing up my Getamped2 character in animation frame form. Simply taking screenshots of him in all angles and poses. Maybe I'll use it in some video montage purposes.

same can be said if it is successful, why wouldn't they put it on all platforms? I still see alot of people in it. and they use money to do it. so i still think onigiri is doing good. at least stable. they have been surviving for years as is.

That's like saying Skyrim is unsuccessful because they've put it on pretty much every platform.

As far as this game goes, it's been around for quite a few years so it seems unnatural that they would suddenly decide now to add the game to Steam, it does come across as an effort to keep the numbers from falling so low that they need to shut it down. It's not like it's a very popular game, it's not uncommon for these kind of mmos to shut down because they aren't making as much money as the publisher wants.

tbf skyrim is loved cause of mods mostly i think, alot of mmos took awhile to come to steam, any game want numbers to stay up, i wouldn't say it isn't a popular game. they still alot of players. and i'm talking only pc. there are ofc players on the consoles and steam. it a really fun game. better then most mmos nowaday tbh. only con is the weird buggyness. otherwise it's fine. it would of died long ago. if there wasn't a player base. plus the most popular mmos are the older ones i think.

I think Getamped2 would get more attention if we also had "getamped2 movie maker tools

No, I won't. Weeks ago, I lost "Blacklight: Retribution". In April 8 I will lose "Orcs Must Die! Unchained", before them I lost Wildstar, Ghost In The Shell: First Assault Online, World Of Dragons and many, many more games. Which approximate total count can be 20+ games.

I'm fed up with fear of being unable to keep the game. While such fear is eliminated with certain online games that host many private servers or have built in server creator.

I was trying to romanticize the death of online games to get used to it, but no. Blacklight: Retribution was a breaking point.

Nah Onigiri is a successful game.

If it was unsuccessful it wouldn't have lasted this long.
