Split-Screen Multiplayer Plans?

Co-op survival makes this game stand out, and I would like to ask if there are any plans to add split-screen local multiplayer?

second this. I just loaded it up to do this, and was disappointed that I couldn't play it with 4 joysticks here :(

It isnt advertised as local coop on the store page.

Also I want to add that that would make this game be playable in the future.... in 10 years I dont think you will find a lobby to join, but you could still have your friends and sofa to play local multiplayer

Please add local coop. I even bought the game for my friends, but it'd be nice to play one shared screen, 2 controller vibes

I would LOVE this option to. Was thinking of buying it, if it had local/shared screen coop I would buy it right away. Still might get it anyways, but being able to play with my nieces and nephews when they come over would be awesome (Brotato and Vampire Survivor do this, along with one other Bullethell game I can't remember the name of atm).
