That is a bit glib, so I am sorry if it causes offence but the point is relax and try to enjoy the grind. Once you hit each milestone, it is very satisfying.
I'm not offended at all and typically this kind of grind is fine until you realize they're going to keep adding more achievements that are even more ridiculous. It's the reason I stopped playing vampire survivors. It was fun when I got to the end up constantly adding more just makes it feel more like a chore and the reward isn't even satisfying because you know there's going to be more after you finish
I suspect there is something wrong with me, I don't mind having a dozen EA games with more achievements looming. I suppose if they are decent enough games, by the time they add them you don't mind revisiting them. My big exception now is Nordic Ashes, after 169 hours in it, I just want them to stop and finish the game so I can uninstall it so I do get what you mean.
Most of the achievements tied in with the unlocks, but aside from that these survivorlike games main attraction is the easy grind for achievements. Constantly flooding the game with overly grindy rng achievements changes that from a fun game to hunt them in to a chore
I have to disagree about the replayability. I finished the achievements at 40.2 hours and currently have 54.7 hours in the game now. Co-op makes this a game I will keep on playing for a long time. To demonstrate that, take Rampage Knights, another co-op game - I finished the achievements in that one then put another 100 hours into it before switching games. I do not think I am alone in this. People like having games they can play with friends and for the most part it does not matter if the game has depth, just that they can still team up and play.
The biggest problem this game has is also that strength. The number one priority for the devs is to iron out little kinks in the matchmaking. Just my opinion though.
