Friendly Fire - Can you disable

I'm interested as are the people I play with, however, friendly fire can sometimes make these games harder to enjoy, i'm thinking similar to Magicka with a troll.

As the title states, is there any option to disable friendly fire?

Not at the moment, since this particular feature is the main gimmick of this game.

If FF is enabled to be made optional by the lobby host , no problem.
But if its removed fully from the game (dont think it should imo) then the mobs need more hitpoints. Actually LOTS more hitpoints , as without FF teams could just group hug and spam away. Personally i think no FF atall to me would be as bad as some think FF is.

Friendly fire sucks, but it's the main balancing mechanic of the game. Playing with friends trivialises the challenge, but with friendly fire and 5 revives you at least have to think a bit and dodge.

Friendly fire does basically no damage anyway, if you have 100~150 armor it hits for 0 unless its like magic missile explosion, the main problem is the ice element which slows you
