In match upgrades or the ones you buy with gold? I thing the ones you get after a match are not really powerful and cost a bit much... plus I thought the price was individual for every skill, but when you buy one, the rest rise in price
early acces or not, this ain't a first good impression
It's all about choices... and the meta makes a nice difference; getting 400 and change a run makes the meta unlock fast.. no need to make it any easier.

Choices doesnt' matter when it doesn't give you the ones you need to survive the amount of enemies
I have found that the lack of maneuverability is the biggest weakness of the player character. Address that first and see which weapons work for you afterwards.
