Difficulty settings

So I just bought the game and was prompted by the purple ghost thing to pick the difficulty. Problem is they are all so vague! Which one is normal difficulty? I prefer that one because it's not too hard but not too easy but I can't tell which is which!

there's no difficulty choice, that intro sequence is just for show
