In Windows 10 and probably 11, the process stays even after exiting, and when trying to stop it in Tasj Manager, it responds by saying it's not available. So you have to restart Windows to get rid of it

Windows 10, phooey. The hard drive on the ASUS is shot, right now I'm using USB-based Puppy Linux Slacko to run it.

Once I can get a new hard drive I'm switching to Linux. Puppy Linux is great, so full-Linux will be even better, and most Windows games will run that way via WINE.

Is your problem Rundll32.exe not stopping even though the game is?
