Perhaps at least 3 different endings...

I've completed the game a few times and noticed maybe 3 different endings.

1 Is simply exiting the station.

1 is reaching the last platform and attempting to exit the station but you're respawned back on the train needing to complete 11 anomalies.

1 is reaching the last platform and attempting to exit the station but you're respawned back on the train needing to complete 22 anomalies.

As for the advice people are giving just to "sit down to solve" things...utter nonesense for the most part. There are hints around the train for certain anomalies, such as on the electric destination board which can be easily missed. Others are simple problem solving basics.

It would be great to have the game end with Platform 8 and then begin with Exit 8 booted and ready to play if you own them both...Make it so, Mr Worf!

I got this one : Reaching the last platform and attempting to exit the station but you're respawned back on the train needing to complete 13 anomalies.

I guess the number of anomalies left to discover when you respawn depends on how many anomalies you detected before reaching the last platform.

Sounds good to me, which would mean there are many endings based on anomaly amounts.

These are the same ending. It's simply that you successfully completed 8 anomalies in a row, but haven't completed all the anomalies during the playthrough.

Re-spawning back on the train isn't part of the ending, it's starting a new run through the train. If you haven't beaten the game in the current playthrough, it does the normal 0-8 count. If you have beaten the game without seeing all the anomalies in your then it goes into a mode where you have to complete any anomalies you haven't seen to get the other ending. That mode shows the number of anomalies remaining instead of the 0-8 count. Dying in this mode will re-start this mode and continue the countdown until you successfully complete all anomalies.

That's not an ending. You need to run to the next cart before it floods.

If you get the blood flood in the train car...that's not the ending...well it is...it just means you're dead...or, do you mean you get the blood on Platform 8?

There are 3 endings.

If you get to Platform 8 without seeing all 30 possible anomalies; you get the 'white' ending. You will get a white void which when entering will teleport you back to the start of the train.

The signs above the doors will now tell you how many anomalies you are yet to see. Complete all the remaining anomalies to get the 'true' ending where you exit the platform.

If you get to platform 8 and have seen all 30 anomalies, you will get the true ending rather than the white void.

If you get off at the fog station, you can get a hidden achievement by running the loop a few times. However this is not an ending and you can't get back on the train. You will need to exit and restart the game.

You can also get off at the station, go up the stairs, through the turnstile, then turn left and follow the yellow line. You end up somewhere that may seem familiar.
