I'd assume it is purely linked to the chest drops, but the specifying of *public* matchmaking in the announcement has me double guessing myself.

Now that my friends and I have almost all got a drop each, we did some science.

We made a lobby of the four of us, and hit public match (though it treats the game like a private one with no stars at the end, options of house rules)

Kept the house rules to normal, and just played our game. One of us got lunar dice after.

So, you still have a chance of event drops, while still getting to play with all of your friends. No one has to sit out.

I don't know if we've been super lucky with dice drops now that they are fixed, or LoG maybe upped the drop rate to account for the reduced amount of days.

Oh wow, we did some games since the drop fix but none of us got a single event dice :( Thank you anyway, we will keep trying !

I got one yesterday, after the event was extended. The special dice didn't drop in the original time frame. Today I only got once chest, not two, so I think the event's already ended.
The announcement said: "End: Thursday, 19th February AEDT"
19th is on Friday, today.
Also, why do they add timezone AEDT if they don't post at what time exactly, the timestamp.

I add AEDT to express it will be sometime during the Studio hours of the specified date in the Australian timezone.

No. :( I got mine on the second game of the day, and friends got theirs on the first and third.

Yeah, that's strange. You posted this just before 11:30amAEDT, and were already getting solo drops. But we played our last games at like.. 2-3am AEDT, and got our double drops, so it's not like it ended once the day rolled over at midnight, either. It was just... sometime randomly during the workday.

Oh, I'm sad, I was ready to launch a game hoping for my lunar dice :( So, I guess I have to mourn this dice :'(

Event ended and I didn't get a single one... same issue as the Winter Dice last time. :/
Gotta hit up the LoG team about that; think there was something iffy.

There was. They fixed it ~6 days in. We had 3 days of the event actually working.

Same as the last special dice I couldnt get a single lunar dice and I played each day the maximal amount and opend the bonus chest. Compared to last year I got 2 special dices at both events, idk feels like the droprate ist way smaller then last year.

I couldn't get one either, but I don''t think we should be complaining. It's just bad luck.
