Mine crashes as well, it worked a couple times and now it just freezes on the intro. (OSX Yosemite, MBP late 2013 w/ GeForce GT750M)

MIne crashes as well. For awile it would crash once or twice and then play fine, but now it keeps crashing or gets stuck on the LoG logo and the music just plays.

OSX Yosemite, MacBook Pro Retina - Mid 2014, 8 GB ram, 2.6 ghz i5, intel iris 1536 mb

Yeah I've also had problems starting the game, most of the time it freezes at the first logo intro, sometime crashing to desktop. Seems quite random as once I gotten past the intro section I haven't run into any problems.

I think I have the same problem. I just installed the game, clicked the play button in steam, then it changed to full screen and showed a purple three headed squiggly creature and the beachball appeared.

The music still played while beach-balling, but nothing else happened. I let it sit for a while just to see if it was loading or something, but eventually had to hold down the power button to force a shutdown.

It seems to work after I force a shutdown by holding the power button. I haven't had it freeze again. I wonder if it has anything to do with power save mode? I put my computer to sleep with steam on, armello installed but not played yet, then closed the lid and took it home.

It froze when I tried to play after opening the lid at home. Not sure if this is related, butI haven't had trouble since I forced a shutdown (though I haven't put it to sleep with steam open again either.)

I ended up getting it to work in a really simple way, just needed to restart after redownloading then it launched just fine. Honestly don't know why I didnt try that first haha

I've that too on a Early-2015 13' Macbook pro retina, 2,7 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 Go 1867 MHz DDR3, Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 Mo. With El Capitan OS.
A good launch seems to be random.

I've check the cache directory on the game (it says it's good, with no improvment). When freezing on startup, I need to use cmd+alt+esc to kiil the game.
