Corrupted champion's quest is in stone circle
Impossible to do quest when the subject happens. You enter, you instantly die, all new and current quests after that are permanently disabled because you cannot do them unless you somehow get your rot reduced, which, by the time you are corrupted, you do NOT want to do.

I don't think that you can actually get a quest that needs to be completed in a Stone Circle when you are corrupted. It's automatically changed to somehwere else and Spirit Stone rewards become "+2 Rot".

However: If you can become corrupted while on a quest, well.. Good luck.

Spirit is correct- if your active quest is on a circle, hold off that last point of corruption, or draw a Mountain moss/Clensing wyld. If you had a rot card waiting to use, you can do it immediately after finishing your circle quest before you get to choose the next set (with the corruption option).

I was corrupted the turn after I got the quest. It did not automatically change elsewhere, it was still in the circle.

Yeah, that's all normal- it's not going to change unless you are corrupted before selecting a new quest.

Kletian and Spirit are totally right, in order to get stuck in this situation, you would have to get corrupted with the quest active. Generally this is avoidable and your outs are Mountain Moss(Item) and Cleansing Wyld(Spell)!

So it's pretty much a guarrenteed loss of any current/future quests. Gettng the anti-rot cards is rare in my experience and if you have 5 rot you have NO interest in losing any. Oh well.

Mountain moss is temporary and not that rare.

Maybe it'd be nice if the Terrain type the goal was on was more obvious during quest selection so it'd be easier to avoid the few times non-spirit stone quests are on circles.

Why not make an exception? 3 solutions: - He does the quest and die after
- or have a special quest.
- or the best solution, he take a new quest card.

I played board games in a club while few years and if we had an unfair (impossible) situation, we thought that it was a rule issue. In this situation we gave him a new quest card or he could do the quest before diying.

There's some precedent to changing "the order of operations" already. The Palace Key quests lets you quest before the Palace Peril processes, and a Corrupted person can still grab a Stone before the circle kills them.

I was personally of the opinion that Circle Deaths when corrupted should remove 1 point of Rot- giving a non luck way of breaking Corrupted Status.

But do you want to remove a rot point when there is 5 rot points or more, or also when it's 5 or less?
For me when someone is corrupted there is no way back ( it's not really black magique if you have not an hidden cost ,it's like a deal with the devil ). It's why the king can't be saved. But a good wizard can play with the line with some rare and ancient spells but if he cross the line , it's over.
The rot spells seems to be free and fight the devil seems to have no real risks. But when you deal with the devil you have no way back.

The 4 spirit Stones offer absolution no matter how corrupted you are, as do the druids provided you can survive the circle long enough for the event to process. The Cleansing Wyld card can likewise take someone from corrupted to 4 Rot. Granted at 4+ Rot you usually don't Want to go back down, but the idea of killing yourself in a circle for repentences seems like a good way of getting the corruption out.

For me is hard (impossible) to be corupted if you not play with black magic, or if you don't really want to be corrupted. You play with black magic, you pay the price. And when you are corrupted you have a couple of cool capacities.
