If I were to wager a guess though, I'd say it is sacred as it stems from something like "Gaia" or "The Force". You could call it the life force of the planet. I'd also argue there's a guiding entity behind that force, as if the planet itself is alive. And if "Gaia" wills it, the creatures that inhabit the planet can make use of her power, her mana.
Moreover, where the Wyld would represent life, the Rot would represent its polar opposite. Like a perversion of life, corrupt and deadly.
Just my guess tho, don't hold me to it. Please correct me if I'm wrong ^^
it is opposed and balanced by the Wyrm, a force of death, corruption, and ending (analogous to the Rot), and the Weaver, a force of order, stability and patterning (which has no analogue in Armello).
My Lovely?
What is Wyld?
I want to know.
