Character Guide - YOLO Twiss
So I meant to do this on April 1st, but lotta stuff happened that prevented that and I didn't want to wait another year to publish. So here you go, a guide for a silly character build.

Questions, comments, feedback, and "lol I actually won with this somehow" are all welcome! I might write a more serious Twiss guide at some point in the future if people enjoy how I write guides.

This is stupid and I love it! Too bad I won't be able to test this out since my hatred of that squirrel burns with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns that I swore to myself that I'd never play as her.

Still, guides for silly builds like this are nice, and it's a fun challenge for those that are looking for some variety.

Any ideas for a second one?

I did manage a Twiss Rot Victory a few days ago. Definitely one of my sillier games.

Nothing 100% off hand and definitely nothing I've seriously given attempts to. Turning Sylas or Horace into a caster with Feel and Amethyst sounds kinda fun. Trying something with the Amber ring from Bear clan might be neat too. Not sure if self-peril Tanzanite Griotte is a normalish build or not.

All I'll say is I'd like to see a few character guides of a more serious nature by other members of the community, or guides for Armello in general. It's interesting to see what strategies people use when playing Armello.

This would've been a marvelous April 1 joke though, yeah.

Actually gave this a try against AI and managed to kill the King! It was mutual though (the dice ratio was something like the image with Fang in the guide), so I lost to prestiege. Still a lot of fun ambushing River and Brun and completely taking them out. (Spellslinger Horace sounds fun, though I've been thinking of writing a serious guide for him?)

Yeah, the one thing I learned in the Fang image was that I really needed to try to keep at least one good defensive item. It (usually) makes a difference!

This is a good general rule of thumb, and for some characters I'd go for two defensive items, and in some circumstances I might even go all-in defensive.

Example: Thane? He just needs sword cards when killing the king. Just stack armor. Sylas? Two defensive items, one good offensive item and you're set to brawl with just about anyone. But for most characters, a single good defensive item (Chainmail Shirt, Lionheart Breastplate, Battle Armour, and Heavy Plate Armour especially) is good enough.

Defensive is great though. Always have some on anyone. Magna is the one character I might say "nevermind" to that idea with.
