There are also definitely rules. Off the top of my head:
Would be nice to see hazard rich map modes like no plains/rare forests, filled with swamps and mountains in their stead, in fact more terrain manipulation rules for Stranger Games would be neat, because the games lost their charm after boring rules got bunched in and recycled.
Also interesting to see other than donut map designs with the palace being the donut hole, like a triangle with the palace as the tip and the clan grounds scattered on the bottom.
Or a hourglass disign with no way to travel to the other side aside breaching the palace, but at an increased rate of portals in dungeons and banish perils.
Sure that doesn't make sense with the lore but it would have been interesting to try.
Or a larger map and increased AP, one like that would make 2v2 more interesting if they ever become an official side mode.
