Edit: Sorry for the lazy response, I´ll explain.
There are two cards that give the player an extra action point mid turn:
Red Hot Wine, which makes the user receive 1 action point and lose one health point.
Strategist: Gives the user 1 Action point.
To make use of these cards and "win in one turn", players must enter the palace, use the card and finally select the king.
Breaching the palace removes any spare AP you had left. However, two cards can give an AP on use, letting you attack the king on the same turn.
These two cards are Hot Rot Wine (in the item deck, makes you gain 1 rot and costs 1 health to use) and Strategist (in trickery, costs 3 gold)
With 4 spirit stones, you no longer need to fight the king to defeat him, just moving into him will kill him, cleansing him of the rot.
See you in game!
Cool to see you come to the forums and try and find an answer for what happened in your game! Consistently people lose a game, don't know why, and then post about players cheating here.
Everyone else answered your scenario, but I just want to say that having the games card collection memorized is probably the biggest step in being competitive in mp games. It helps to just first, know what all the cards do, know which cards are in which deck, and also how many of each card is contained in each deck.
Best of luck in your next games.
Thank you!
That's exactly what I thought: my biggest weakness is that I don't know what most of the cards do in the game, and I often tend to draw randomly. I'm still missing some of them, but I'll try to memorize the ones I already have, to be more prepared.
Good luck to you too!
