Local multiplayer?
Sure it may sound silly i guess, but i still enjoy getting a group of friends round to play games together. There isn't a way to play local multiplayer is there? Games with a similar turn based strategy aspect do, such as Civ, so i was interested to know if there is a way to play this locally.

Also my friends are broke / have low end PC's

Hey there Storm!

That's not silly at all! There are a bunch of mechanics within Armello that don't make it suitable for local multiplayer unfortunately, so we've never prioritised that feature.

Cheers,

Thats fair enough, I totally understand what you mean as the ability to act during others turns is a pretty key element. Thanks a bunch for answering anyhow!

Local multiplayer would be a great addition, I would actually play a LOT more with that. Its a shame as without I have a beautiful boardgame in my library that rarely gets used.

Hm. Though this is Thread-Necromancy...there are a lot of threads asking for local mp for Armello. If you don't want to read all of it, just think for a second. How are you going to get the game working if all of the players sit before ONE single monitor? You don't want to let the other players see what cards are in your hand, you can't play cards on another players turn if you are sitting before a single monitor...all things hidden won't be hidden if everybody is watching them...so it just won't work for Armello. Sorry to say that, but though Armello looks like a "real board game" just being digitilized, it just isn't. It is a digital boardgame that thrives in things only to be possible digitally...and simultanously. The Off-turn-play is something that just can't be realized in local mp.
